Up Close & Personal

What is your favorite movie and why? +

It’s a very close battle between “the dark Knight” and any of the original star wars movies.

What do you do for fun? +

I like to stay active. I am always in soccer, tennis, and volleyball leagues. Beyond that I really enjoy meeting up with friends and colleagues at local breweries.

If you could take a 6 month sabbatical, what would you do? +

I would travel to Europe and live in Spain. I am formerly fluent in Spanish and would love to immerse in the culture and regain that ability while creating new friendships and experiences abroad.

What is your favorite vacation destination? +

Costa Rica, I spent two weeks there doing everything from surfing to hiking volcanoes. It was a great mix of relaxing and adventurous.

Most prized possession? +

I have every World Cup soccer ball since 1970

If I left the practice of law today, I would become… +

Probably a financial advisor of some sort, what I enjoy the most about being a lawyer is how closely I get to work with clients, so that is another career that I can see myself being able to work just as closely… plus it would let me use my undergraduate degree in economics.

Favorite thing to do on the weekends? +

Anything social with friends from joining volleyball leagues together, to weekend cabin trips, to exploring new restaurants and breweries around the Milwaukee area.

One thing my clients do not know about me is that I… +

Surf! My dad spent a lot of time in San Diego, so he used to take my brother and I back there to help us learn how to surf. Since then, we have taken a lot of vacations to different coasts to both relax and surf in new spots.

Name one of your athletic accomplishments. +

In 2015 I was the first men’s tennis player to qualify for state from Grafton High School in almost two decades

What was your very first job? +

I was a lifeguard and tennis coach at River Tennis Club. I really enjoyed getting to spend time with and teach all the kids and families

Favorite thing about living in Wisconsin? +

Wisconsin summers are some of the best in the world. There are so many different areas of the state to spend a warm summer day, but my fondest memories come from spending days at the memorial union Terrace at UW-Madison with family and friends or on an inland lake waterskiing or wake boarding.
