Retired Shareholder

Susan M. Love

Susan came to the practice of law with experience as a Human Resources and Labor Relations Director. While practicing law she represented public and private employers in all areas of employment, personnel and labor law including collective bargaining, personnel policies and handbooks, discrimination and harassment, union avoidance, strike planning, performance evaluation systems, discipline and discharge, and grievance arbitration. Susan regularly advised clients on issues arising under the Wisconsin and Federal FMLA laws.

During her tenure she successfully defended employers against unfair labor and prohibited practice charges, discrimination charges, and wage and hour claims. Susan also defended employers in litigation brought in the state and federal courts. Susan had a wealth of experience in investigating claims of harassment and discrimination and then defending those cases before the courts and administrative agencies. Susan did more than provide technical legal answers; she drew on her experience to provide practical advice to solve real problems.
