Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson and Vliet Attorneys Named to 2023 Super Lawyers List

He has over 30 years of experience representing school districts and municipalities in all aspects of labor and employment law. Mark is a highly respected attorney in his field and has been recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in Education & School Law for multiple years. He is also a frequent speaker and author on labor and employment law topics.

Gary Ruesch is an Of Counsel attorney with Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson and Vliet, LLC, and has over 30 years of experience representing school districts and private schools in the areas of special education law, general school law, and labor and employment law. He has successfully counseled clients a variety of areas such as special education due process, sexual harassment, student discipline, and employee discipline and dismissal. Attorneys like Gary are recognized by their peers for their outstanding work and commitment to the spirit of the legal profession.

Saveon Grenell has successfully defended employers in various labor and employment disputes before state and federal agencies as well as federal and state courts in matters related to wage and hour disputes, discrimination and harassment complaints, and retaliation. He also counsels public and private schools on issues such as public records/open meetings, school board policies, general business affairs, and other school law matters. He is known for his personal and attentive level of support to the clients he represents. He takes a practical approach to the law, always putting his clients first.

Alana Leffler has over 10 years of experience in school law, and she represents public and private schools in a wide range of matters, including general school law, special education law, and labor and employment law. Leffler is a skilled and experienced advocate for her clients. She is also a trusted advisor who helps schools address issues like student discipline, student bullying and harassment, Title IX, employee misconduct investigations, along with several other areas. She helps her client navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of school law.
