Attorney Update: Renae Waterman Aldana
November 1, 2017 – Renae Waterman Aldana has been selected by the Wisconsin Special Education Mediation System as a mediator and has resigned from the private practice of law with the firm at Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson and Vliet effective October 13, 2017.Renae will be mediating special education cases and facilitating IEP team meetings for WSEMS. While in private practice for over 20 years, Renae provided outstanding legal representation for clients and has always been child centered in her vision. Renae represented many outstanding special education directors, superintendents and teachers over the years, and looks forward to serving schools, families and children in her new capacity as a mediator and IEP facilitator.We have enjoyed having Renae as our colleague and know that she will be an excellent resource for families and school districts in preventing and resolving special education concerns.
