Attorney Saveon D. Grenell Becomes a Shareholder of Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson & Vliet, LLC
WAUKESHA, WI (April 3, 2023) – Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson & Vliet, LLC is pleased to announce that attorney Saveon D. Grenell has been promoted to a shareholder in the firm.
Grenell’s practice is focused on advising public and private employers including non-profits on a variety of labor and employment legal matters. He assists employers with issues such as discrimination and harassment complaints, employee discipline and discharge, wage & hour disputes, employee misclassification, labor negotiations, contract interpretation, employment and severance agreements, grievance arbitration, conducts personnel and anti-harassment/discrimination investigations, and advises on other labor and employment matters. Grenell has successfully defended employers in various labor and employment disputes before state and federal agencies as well as federal and state courts in matters related to wage & hour disputes, discrimination and harassment complaints, and retaliation. Grenell also counsels public and private schools on issues such as public records/open meetings, school board policies, general business affairs, and other school law matters.

Grenell earned his law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree in international business from Bethune-Cookman University. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and State Bar of Texas. Grenell is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Federal Labor Standards Legislation Committee and is editor of the Wisconsin chapter for Bloomberg Law’s State Wage & Hour Treatise. Grenell previously worked for the City of Milwaukee as an Assistant City Attorney and for Milwaukee Public Schools, advising on labor, employment, and school law matters.
